Anne is in her fourth year working for FIDC as the Corporation’s Development Manager, a position she sees as particularly strategic in supporting to the local business community and co-ordinating economic development projects in the key industrial sectors of the Islands.
She is particularly proud to have set up a new and vibrant business advice and mentoring programme, delivered by her team in partnership with key local and overseas partners, broadening the comprehensive range of services available from FIDC for start-up as well as growing enterprises. She is also enjoying coordinating the delivery of the Rural Development Strategy Action Plan, plus launching a new approach to encourage existing and new local businesses to produce and market horticultural products.
Anne is a mother of two little boys for whom the Falkland Islands is their home. The family is making the most of another busy summer. More adventures to follow then.
