Louise Ellis joins FIDC as a Development Officer, tasked with delivering practical support to Island businesses.
Louise has a background in education and management, previous experience in the private sector in the UK and in the Islands and most recently in the public sector as a member of the Policy Unit of the Falkland Islands Government.
She has developed a good knowledge and understanding of economic development in the Islands and the Economic and Rural Development Strategies.
Recently Louise stood as a candidate for Stanley in the General Elections, and although unsuccessful, the hustings process provided an excellent opportunity to engage with the private sector.
She intends to build upon this experience and the positive relationships forged in her role as a Development Officer for FIDC.
