Development Manager Vacancy
We have a vacancy for a Development Manager who, as part of the Senior Management Team, will lead and coordinate key economic development projects for local businesses and start-ups, through sound advice, management support and access to finance.
FIDC is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual for this important and hands-on role. Candidates should possess a business degree or professional qualifications in accounting or financial management, or have significant commercial management experience and be experienced in leading a small team.
Experience working in both the public and private sectors would be an advantage.
This is a full-time position with a salary from £42,230 per annum

Rural Development Strategy (RDS) Steering Group
Please note that the Rural Development Strategy Steering Group meeting will take place on Thursday 22nd of November 2018 at 13:30 in the Liberation room, Secretariat.
Members of the public can attend the meeting but cannot speak unless permitted to do so by the Committee.

FIDC’s Business Development Officer, Louise Ellis, visited West Falkland during the week of the 29th October. In a programme spread over four days, the goal was to promote and discuss the new RDS Action Plan, whilst visiting as many farms and meeting as many FIDC Development clients as possible.
