On Sunday the 2nd of February FIDC attended the Early Years Conference Expo held at the Infant and Junior School between 12pm and 1pm.

FIDC promoted help in developing the childcare sector here in the Islands, which includes providing business support to new and existing childcare businesses, and training courses as a way to upskill people in the Islands.  “All aboard the learning train” was the appropriate theme for FIDC’s Expo display.

The Corporation also put across the message that there is still a gap in the market for another childcare provider. FIG’s capital investment is available and FIDC are keen to support those looking to start their own business in this vital sector.
