Energy Loan Scheme

The Energy Loan Scheme provides financial assistance to businesses with the capital costs of an energy system and its installation.

There are two options available under this scheme:

An unsecured loan with a maximum budget available of £20,000 and a maximum repayment period of 5 years.
A secured loan with a maximum budget available of £50,000 and a maximum repayment period of 10 years.

FIDC’s new energy audit service was successfully launched earlier this month.

This week our Business Engagement Officer, Jane Clarke, hosted another 2 Workshops covering the basics of Social Media Marketing; from advice on best practices, to planning and review. Each participant concluded the workshop with a full resources pack and an invitation for further assistance.

FIDC recently held a workshop with Falkland Islands Chamber of Commerce members to discuss how the organisation could potentially assist businesses with labour force development issues.

Sheila Harvey took on the Rose when it was in a dilapidated state, with her vision of a total building restoration opening the way for a quality food and beverage enterprise.
