FIDC - Board Member Recruitment

 

FIDC is looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial background and real interest in business and economic development in the Falkland Islands to join the FIDC Board. This is an interesting and rewarding time to be involved with the Islands’ enterprise economy as we tackle unprecedented challenges and enter a period of ambitious Government investment.

The following positions are available, with the successful members to take up their roles on 1st July 2021:

Co-Opted Member                Two years

The commitment requires attendance at six meetings each year for which a small expenses fee is paid, though deeper involvement is encouraged. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of key business sectors in the Islands. Experience and understanding of Agriculture and Rural businesses operating in Camp would be advantageous but not essential.
