FIDC wishes to congratulate Falklands Legal who are celebrating their 10-year anniversary.
On the 8th of March 2012, Falklands Legal began their journey with space allocated in the FIDC offices. FIDC continued to assist, from financial assistance to business advice, and are proud to have witnessed them grow into a successful business, well established in their own premises and reaching this impressive milestone today.
March 2022 marks the three-year anniversaries for the Falkland Islands Development Corporations two Business Development Officers, John Hellowell and Sian Davies. Both John and Sian are passionately devoted to the development of the Falkland Islands and are both well-established business mentors. Congratulations to them both on their joint anniversary and we eagerly anticipate watching their continued success!
The Falkland Islands Development Corporation (FIDC) are pleased to announce the appointment of their new Business Engagement Officer. Jane Clarke took up this exciting new position on the 1st of March 2022.
The Falkland Islands Development Corporation (FIDC) have developed a proposal to construct a purpose built warehouse, for handling and storing the Falklands Wool clip prior to shipment to customers throughout the world. FIDC now invites Tender submissions from experienced contractors for the provision of the design and construction of a standard pre-engineered steel framed and clad warehouse building. The building will be of c1860sq mtrs.

Falkland Islands Development Corporation announces the appointment of their new Strategic Projects Manager.
Stacy Bragger took up the position earlier this week, joining FIDC’s Senior Management Team.
In the role of Strategic Projects Manager, Stacy will be working on assisting with the delivery of key strategic projects for FIDC and initiatives to support the growth of the Falklands Islands economy.
